Travelled with my two dogs, overall the hotel was delightful. Excellent service, though a few employees were chatty. The hotel had a central location in the centre of the village. What's more, it was very close to the restaurant, the river and the public areas. They offered us well presented meals, had plenty of options to choose from.

Peaceful, marvellous location in the lovely area. Fabulous, immaculate units provided with super comfy beds, a fan, as for instance.

Location
The step into the bath .... The bath is kind of on a plinth and the step out of the bath is a little precarious.

Quality of food. Size of room. Helpful/friendly staff.
Restaurant prices too expensive, whereas bar menu was cheaper but not much choice. Some parts of the hotel were tired and in need of a revamp, which was being done when i visited, so this should not be an issue in future, as it has the potential to be a very nice hotel once again. Only 5 terrestrial TV channels.

Staff who understand customer service. The kitchen had just closed when I arrived (about 10 pm) but there was none of the usual shrugging of shoulders - an excellent hot beef baguette and chips was rustled up before the kitchen was locked up. Very helpful in every other respect as well.

staff was friendly
it was mentioned that hotel has free wifi. there was no mobile signals in the room and no wifi signals as well. My work was stuck. I booked this hotel based on wifi only. So i have to restrict my stay from 2 days to one..

The room was awful. Leaking ceilings, twin instead of dbl. Wasnt clean at all.

The room had unique, stylish furnishings that gave it a distinct character. The dining area offered an inviting atmosphere.
No air conditioning made the room stifling during slightly warm weather, and the inability to open the window more than a few inches didn't help. The lack of gluten-free breakfast options, despite prior notice, was disappointing. The shower had persistent issues, including a broken head and a dripping overhead attachment. The absence of bathrobes and slippers was like a missed detail for comfort. The room could use a refresh.

Very comfortable beds Lots of choice on the menu Staff were friendly
No wireless access in the bedrooms. Bedrooms very sparse. Menu was good sounding but some items were very salty. Very dated hotel although there were signs of renovation.

Ample parking available, a handy perk when you need to haul your gear around. The bar area features a good selection, with a few decent options to choose from.
Issues with breakfast provisions for gluten-free diets were apparent, causing inconvenience on the first morning despite prior notification. The shower setup lacked effectiveness due to broken fixtures, which soaked the floor. The room felt stuffy, unable to escape the heat, particularly with the window sealed shut due to odors from the kitchen. There were no bathrobes or slippers, something I'd expect for the rate paid. The room was overall tired with some maintenance issues clearly visible in the bathroom.
